Hey All,

Here's something I just HAD to have and hardly use, ha, ha. It's in really good shape, it's very heavy (about 70lbs) and very loud. I'm including the text from the guy I bought it from which should answer most questions. I'm about 2 hours South East of Orlando, so plan a trip, bring the family to Disney and get a toy for yourself as well. I'm not interested in shipping this....its just too heavy.
Oh yeah, price.....I bought it for $250 and that's what I'd like to get back....I think it's well worth that. I'm not in a big hurry to sell it and I'd like to see a LTG member end up with it.

Thanks,
Dave

changed to 3-prong grounded plug

It still has some original tubes, Sylvania and Realistic which the tech said were good and didn't need replacing yet. I'm also pretty sure that all the knobs and switches are original.

After getting it back from my tech I found that the "bright" switch on channel 2 is a little iffy...could use some contact cleaner or replacing if you plan to flip it mid stride.

The reverb knob also effects volume...not as much as the volume knob, but it's noticeable. When I asked the tech about it he said that's the way Guild had those wired up.

I don't know what to tell you other than that...I'm giving you the most honest report I can. I bought it about a year ago for $300 and then put another $150 into having the tech fix the tremolo (cap needed replaced), check and replace other caps as needed, install new handle, bias, and whatever else they do when it's on the bench. I've gotten into an all acoustic band now and am just not using the amp. I'm past the point of getting my money back and am just looking to recover a portion.
