Just a random post that I listened to this album all the way through today, and I love it! Sort of astounding how good they sound at their age, Jagger's voice sounds the same as always. If you like The Stones you will like this album.

And the new Guitar Player magazine has a great interview with both Keith Richards and Andrew Watt, who produced it and got people like Paul McCartney to play on it.

Seriously folks, this IMHO, is the best Stones album since probably Tattoo You in 1981!!! It’s a great listen from start to finish!

There’s a great story behind Macca’s inclusion. When Paul arrived, producer Andrew Watt gifted Paul an original early 60’s Hofner bass just like his iconic one. Paul wondered why, being that his own was already all he needed. Then it was pointed out to him that it had been customized w/ a special Univox SuperFuzz circuit that was activated by an added toggle. Paul plugged it in, played it for a bit, then flipped the toggle and everyone in the room’s jaws just dropped!! They were like What the F%#* is THAT?!?! Mick, Keith, and Ronnie all said it was just complete carnage when he flipped that switch! Paul was like a kid in a candy store!

Listen on a good system, preferably w/ a sub!! It’s bass bliss!!
