This is the stand that I'm pretty impressed with these days. The "Starfish" is both extremely secure and exceptionally well balanced. Again, with zero nitro reaction.

String Swings for me, too! (21 guitars hanging in the music room). I do use felt to cover the hooks to better protect the finish. I've been hanging guitars for 35 years with no problems.

Have been using a Stringswing rack and single mount for several years, no issues other than needing to
be careful moving guitars on and off the rack and checking the swivel tensioning knobs once in awhile- would definitely
not use without hitting a couple of studs though.

I gotta repaint my room. Love that finish. What did you use?

Beecee - thanks! If memory serves, room was finished using McCloskey Special Effects, using a warm white
base coat followed by a burnt sienna translucent color glaze cross-brushed and blended.
Think maybe two light coats of glaze, followed by a satin clear coat. Not sure if those exact products
are still available but I'm sure there are others that are. More involved than just rolling on
solid color, but not difficult .

Excellent. Will see what is out there. I love interior painting and what a huge difference the right finish can accomplish.

I like the set up @lungimsam hass too. Think I'll reposition my desk and some gits!

Perfect cold wet cruddy weekend project!!!!
