Mid 90's, Really. I now live just outside Kansas City. Mid 90's here too. People 'round here act like they are at the gates of hell. I come from Central San Joaquine Valley Ca. Temps in mid summer often reach 115. Also was auto painter there. Full body suit, gloves to the elbow. Mid 90's ain't nothin'.

Keep in mind that some Michiganians (or Michiganders if you prefer) go out & about when it's in the 30s wearing t-shirts & shorts.

I'm lovin' the 90s myself: currently 93° and I'm sitting outside (in the shade), browsing the 'nets and listening to my A/C unit humming away, after taking a long walk in my fav local park earlier today.

Labs melting in the 100+ degree heat. :)

With one 4,5 years young lab in the house - I'm glad my wife is sleeping and does not see this picture - otherwise we'd be heading to puppyshopping tomorrow 🤪 - it would be nice and lovely, but at my age perhaps not fair to the puppy 🐾

This is one of my sister-in-law's Golden Retriever puppies when we were camping a few hot summers ago:

Only problem with Missouri in the summer is the bugs. Outside doing some electrical today. About dusk the mosquito's started eating me. That's when I miss California. When I go to buy ammo I don't miss Ca. at all.

No bugs, and no humidity (except for what I create in the house for the guitars) and tomorrow its 111, then Sat and Sun are 114 and then it drops back to 111. Dry heat or not, that's just effing HOT!!! We stay in the house, or in the car, or in a building. But now the bars have closed again so it's only table service and so we're just at home now. I'm thinking water balloon fight!!! But outside.... oh wait, no.... it's too hot....

Hot here, too, and I don't seem to be able to take it like I could 20 or 30 years ago. I recall waxing my car one day and then finding out the temp was 103 and they were warning people not to do any strenuous activities outside. I had no clue it was that hot because it just didn't bother me. Fast forward to now. I'm ready to move to Alaska!

I remember those 110+ days well. Don't miss it a bit.. Was plumbing outdoor electrical yesterday evening. Mosquito's ate me alive. Was already into it by the time they came out. So just pushing through to get done. Should've stopped to spray some DEET.

5th day in a row 90 or above.

Been doing a ton of yard work...in fact mowed lawns, (push not riding mower), took down a small tree and trimmed all around house, before I relocated the trampoline, after work, (well after sneaking the new F-20 in the house).

Luckily we have an above ground pool, (which feels like bath water last night), and a fridge full of beer in the garage I keep at 31 degrees.

Funny, I hesitated a bit before opening the F-20 yesterday. It was 95 outside, it had been in the FedEx truck since 6 a.m. and I thought to myself "do I need to let it acclimate??" It was 71 on our office T-stat...figured I was safe

yeah nuuska, getting two lab puppies at 53 years of age and i have 3 kids, well, not the smartest decision i have ever made. not to mention we are moving to a house that is a bit bigger as we just dont have space right now. so my life is total chaos for next month or so. but the dogs are super sweet, just really good dogs, so just got to see it thru. :)
