We've seen a video of them before, but last time I looked, couldn't find it. Couldn't recall the artist, think this is the same one:
In any case, a few years back somebody asked about the unusual 12-string in the vid.
It's dreadnought body. Clear headstock shot from 2:12-26. About 10 years before the G-212/312.
Don't think we ever figured out what it actually was based on, as in D40 or D50, but since then I've grown to suspect it must have been a special order, since if it had been a prototype I don't think it would have made it out of the plant.
One "validating " detail is that white TRC, we've seen that on extremely early F212's/312's as well, don't know if it was simply a material availability thing or just an aesthetic touch that was dropped quickly.
