Any Preston Reed fans? My dad discovered him in the mid 80s from the owner of our local record store who was an all around great source for all sorts of music. Always a very impressive player and he was an original too. Andy McKee became popular when Drifting went viral but many people don’t realize how much he owes to Preston Reed - and he doesn’t deny it himself.

Around 2000, he came out with the Handwritten Notes album which in my opinion was his best. He has some technically challenging tracks like Night Ride (learned the first half got lost on the second) and Tractor Pull but his compositions had also grown. Then there’s beautiful tracks like What You Don’t See which I’m slowly working on - should sound great on my F-50 though!
