preamp pt deux

hi all! ive been looking for a preamp i could afford to run mckaila thru on her way to either my old amp , or thru a pa
i found this, read the reviews, & ordered it:

question: anyone else use this, or know someone that uses it, or seen it being used?

I have one of these, and I like it. I use it with a K&K and a Fishman Loudbox Mini. It also has XLR out for use with a PA. If you don't like the PB100, you can probably return it and give this one a try.

You can get better preamp/direct boxes from Baggs, Fishman and K&K, but at much higher cost. This one works fine for my amateur at-home use.

thanks Don--i figured it was something i could use at the open mics, very occasional gigs & church.
i really wanted a fishman but those are out of reach for awhile.

ok--well ive had it for a little while & have put it thru some good usage. it boils down to i like it.
con is that it only has gain, treble, & bass controls. pro is it only has gain, treble & bass controls.
im a big fan of k.i.s.s. (keep it simple stoopud). it boosts the signal well & retains the clean
sound im wanting. im happy with it & it for now--until i can afford to put K&K in mckaila
