Pickup covers or no covers ? 1981 M80

Although I normally like pickup covers, that particular guitar looks great without them! Hard to articulate, but somehow it looks like it "rocks" more!

The sound with the covers on was pretty much the same, but a little less sensitive.

Yes, I like the left look on that one with the XR-7 pickups.

Thanks Ralf. The covers slip on quite easily, I didn't change the pickups, I like XR7's .

As Matsickma mentioned in another thread, the unbound, smooth contoured body makes it
very ergonomic. It fits just right, the neck is medium-thin like the early 70's Guild solid bodies,
and the XR7's just scream. Cheers.
