i bet Glenn knows him and even has played shows with him....

i saw him in Newport RI when I was much younger, at the Tennis Hall Of Fame. it was an outside concert on the main tennis court.
he is a great picker for sure.

I think he hails from providence RI but I think he used to live in Newport too. not sure

Great player, and a very funny guy. I've seen him in the Boston area a number of times over the years, but I've never played shows with him.

He's been working on a somewhat mysterious project for some 10 years or so now, according to a friend who's involved. My freind says it's great and that the release is immenent, but I don't know more than that.

He tells story I remember from the Tennis Hall of Fame Newport concert of in 60s, they would all meet at a park and work out blues songs on acoustic. He was like 17 and was learning as much as he could. And I believe that park was on the grounds of what eventually became a school I went to from 7th to 9th grade. Up the road a bit from 1st beach.

He must be helping Hans with Volume II of the Guild Guitar Book.

Yes, he is a Rhode Islander. I met him once at the Narrows Center (Fall River, MA). I understand that he has been quite the scholar of the blues, traveling around to various locations in the South and elsewhere in his old blue station wagon. I think Paul has been ill recently, though.
He is a real link with music's past.
