Thought I caught a glimpse of a Guild in Giraldo's hands yesterday on a piece about him and Benatar on CBS Sunday Morning.

He has a much modded Starfire 3 that he uses. He jammed it full of foam to thwart the feedback issue.

He’s played a Starfire for decades now.

I saw Pat Benatar in the ‘90s and she may have been the most boring performer I’ve ever seen. Her songs rock and I remember her pretty much just standing still behind the mic for the entire show. Weird experience.

Maybe, at heart, she is a bass player?

I've never really been a fan; just surprised me to see her husband with a Guild.

That kind of surprised me too when I saw he played a Starfire III. When I first saw him with her in Cleveland, he wielded the first BC Rich Bich I'd ever seen, which I thought was the coolest guitar ever. He played kind of flashy guitars, but then again it was the 80s.

Agreed! I don't understand why the critics didn't like it.
cause they really like pop music...
I can't stand her other stuff, but I do recall this blues album she put out in like 1993 and it was super popular, on the radio all the time. I thought she had finally found her voice lol

some critic I am ....
