Yeah, no thanks on the white water stuff. I have a good friend who does that but he is a hard core athlete and thrill seeker (aka lunatic). Helmet on, strapped in hard so no chance of coming out. You’d better know how to right yourself quick after you flip because you are going to flip. Hopefully you remain conscious after you do. Yeah, hard pass on that.

It’s a dead zone , phone only rated at 19 ft for 30 minutes. It’s been a week . Tried to today no luck . I’ll just enjoy my new phone and new case and drink lots of beer to keep my mind off of losing my prized cell phone . Ugh sigh , ok I’m gunna sell my CO-2 Guild I think and buy me that Harp guitar I’ve been wanting . That should distract me ! Lmao

You came pretty damn close to losing more than just your phone!

I pulled a kayaker out of a strainer last weekend. I just happened to be a minute behind him....very twisty river...hadn't seen him for the previous half hour.

He was trapped in moderate flow against a tree while his bow was in the hydraulic...he was bent forward against his deck, and couldn't release his skirt. I didn't do anything heroic except be at the right place right time. His wife was at the takeout and they offered to shuttle me back to my car...he begged me to not say a word before we got to the takeout by the dam.
