Wasn't it nice to see Glen C...music is some of the best therapy out there, make it old school for me....the when Paul picked up his guitar and played with the others...well I could easly have listened to them for about an hour...I just guess music prior to Disco is my favorite..... :wink: Steffan

I totally agree - two artists who don't need dance moves and pyrotechnics to perform! Very cool that Paul did that "jazz" tune from his new CD, then performed again in a totally different way. Loved Joe Walsh on classical guitar, too!

Paul turns 70 this June, I hope I'm as active as he is at that age! And what's Glen Campbell, 72? Still got the pipes!!

I really enjoyed both of them!

Actually, I just caught one of those news TV/magazine type shows. He is 75, but as you probably know, he has alzheimer's disease. He probably wouldn't be able to perform anymore, but 3 of his children are in his band. His youngest daughter (25), a beautiful and loving girl, really watches over him. That is good. She said he uses a teleprompter to help him with the words and she says sometimes he repeats songs in his show. He still needs no help in the guitar department.

I may have missed a couple of great moments but honestly, I can't stand the Grammy show. "Sorry, there just seems to be very little that doesn't suck these days, " said the old fart. :?

I lucked out tuning in to the last few minutes to catch Paul, and caught a clip of Glen the next day....the rest of the show was too much glitter and attitude for me, except for the Beach boys of course...Steffan
