So this guy went bass fishing in Northern Michigan and instead he caught this huge Muskie. Then he put it back in the lake, because Muskie season isn't open yet.

Classic fish story? ;]

I can't even grab a 1lb trout without having it wriggle out of my hands, and other fish I've caught (cod) will bite you, but wow, that's must have been a rush!

I fought, and lost, one for almost 40 minutes. I kept moving the butt of my rod to different spots on my abdomen for support.

I had bruises for two weeks all over my stomach.

My Grandfather had a camp in Gananoque on the St Lawrence. he caught two over the decades.

One day!

That's a good sign that maybe lake Michigan is coming back. I sure do miss smoked chubs. You can't find them anymore. There is nothing like them.

Whenever we go to the Upper Peninsula, we stop at as many different smoked fish places as we can.

Not sure about Lake Michigan "coming back," I don't think it went anywhere, LOL.

Wow! That is one big fish! I give the guy credit for lifting it up while standing in a boat!
