So, I've got hundred if not thousands of CD's that for the most part just sit and never get played. So, I pretty much stopped buying new CD's. But every once in a while something comes up that sounds interesting to me. I tend to listen nearly exclusively to Glenn Jones,Bill Morrissey, Steve Goodman, John Prine, Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, CS&N, Norah Jones, Toni Price, Janice Joplin, Eva Cassidy, Bonnie Raitt and likely a few more that I can't remember right now.

But, I saw a promo for "The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Does Dylan" that sounded interesting. They've always been one of my favorite groups and have been around quite a while. I saw them in concert with Emmy Lou Harris at an outdoor venue in Rochester Hills Michigan called Meadow brook and it was likely the best concert I'd ever seen.

The Dirt has some intersting takes/versions of old Dylan Standards and I think done very tastefully. I think my favorite on the CD is "I Shall Be Released" If you're looking for something new to listen to this might be a good option for you.
