I’d had my NS T-Bird up for sale for awhile with not much luck (there are just too many of them out). I was only offering it as an in person sale as shipping would eat up too much (not to even speak about Reverb, etc. fees!). One guy kept messaging me about it, saying he would sell some gear, or offering up trades. Finally, he offered something that did pique my interest, but he didn’t think it was an even swap and wanted to sell it first. He eventually decided to do the trade.
A little bit of a lateral move, but since they are now discontinued, I’m seeing prices move upwards on Reverb‘s price guide, so it may work out if, and when, I decide to sell.
A 2019 Les Paul Jr. Tribute DC in blue stain finish. (The blue appears really dark unless its in bright light.) Single P90, mahogany body maple neck, rw fingerboard. I was pleased that it feels, and sounds, pretty good (as all the reviews said) and the neck, being maple, isn’t a wet noodle, just itching to bend out of tune, like the SG I’d had always did.
It May be just a short term relationship, but could be a fun one.

There’s something special about a 1 PU guitar... I’ll bet that sounds as good as it looks.

Nice, Chris! I love the DC with P90s. They're so light and are real rock and roll machines. A really fun guitar!

This is the real West style Junior. I could never get past those big pickguards on those Juniors, but if you like it, that's all that matters.

The bass versions are fantastic. I’m sure the guitars are, too!
Enjoy!!
PS here is my tiger stripy bass neck from mine. Do the guitars have this look too?

That'll be a screamer through a Marshall JTM-45 or JMP!

Gotta applaud Gibson for keeping at least one quality guitar and bass model in the affordable price range as everything else they make has skyrocketed in price.

It has a little curl to it, but it’s hard to see through the blue. Trogly has commented on this in his various videos; Gibson just grabs whatever neck blank is in the bin on these lower end models, and sometimes you luck out and get some major curl. Only on the higher end guitars do they hand select the wood. Same as with the body on these. They could be one-, two-, or three-piece mahogany blanks, and the seam will be wherever. (I lucked out here; it’s a 2-piece, but the seam is under the pickguard so from the front it looks like a one piece body.

The first "Les Paul" I ever saw as a teen, was a two p/u Jr in the cherry finish, black P-90's, hanging in
a music store downtown...1966-67 maybe? "So THAT's what Eric Clapton uses..." LOL We were way more interested
in the Vox amps and guitars, which were about to come crashing to an end, desirability-wise...

So this would have been after Fresh Cream was released (we certainly did not know of the "Beano" LP), and magazines had not shown any pictures of him with the Fool-painted SG yet...let alone the single cut original Les Paul.

Yes children, there was a time when you had to wait for a magazine...probably Hit Parader...before you got to see any photo's of
musicians. If they were not on Ed Sullivan ;)
