Great looking guitar. I'm not much of a fan of sunburst on other guitars, but on an S-100 it just looks so amazing, especially the violin burst style they used.

That might be the nicest burst I've seen on an s-100. Awesome job!
Awesome indeed. A true testament to Fixit's tremendous skills to bring that one back to glorious Guild goodness again and become the "nicest burst on an S-100 Carved. But I think the title of "nicest burst on an S-100" still belongs to Qvart's '77 Standard.

Although maybe we need to get the two together for a little direct comparison. :) I'll include my '73 DeLuxe as well, although as beautiful as I think it may be, it pales in comparison to the other two.

Fixit's restoration definitely looks great. Glad it worked out.

Speaking of the 'burst..................time to plug in (currently tuned to D).

It's amazing how close the 77 Std. and the 73 carved are in color, since two were made 4 years apart.
The 77 is in much more cherry condition than the 73 and without the touch-ups. That in my mind, along with I like the color on the 77 a little better, would male me concede the title for best burst to the 1977 Stanard :D

That would be my 1964 T-100D the Guildsby was not original to the guitar and has been changed for a harp tailpiece and correct bridge.
