After owning an Electromatic for a while now, I just wasn't getting the tone I wanted. The Electromaticc just seems too stiff and I wanted something with a more vintage vibe and a little more acoustic tone. I checked out the Guild today and was blown away! EXACTLY, the tone I have been searching for. The price as listed was $899 and I got it for $799. So, not a bad price. I'm selling the Gretsch and a tele to makeup the price. The x175b is the yellowish colored one.

That makes one Guild electric and four Guild acoustics for me now. I'm done with GAS!

I got MY X-175 thinking it would cure just the "electric guitar" variant of GAS. Apparently, I am immune to the cure !

Congrats on your new X175B. Great guitars. I thought my GAS was over when I got my 175B.....a few months later I couldn't resist an ESP/Edwards Les Paul copy from Japan. Now I'm gassing for a NS S-100 and a Tele.

I also don't have more guitars because of my financial limitations. I have financial limitations because I buy more guitars. My GAS is both chronic and acute. Good luck with yours.
