When did they start using adi tops on the D-50?

It was officially advertised when Guild moved to New Hartford, IIRC. So 2009 and beyond...

I don't believe this is correct my Tacoma D50 definitely has an adi top and it was built in 2006.

CelticJam is correct. 2006 would be the correct year for the introduction of Red Spruce for the tops on the D-50 Bluegrass Special.

Yup... A number of models had Adirondack spruce soundboards in Tacoma. I don't know that New Hartford has actually changed any of the wood specs for the models (since Tacoma) except for their F-40 GSR and F-50 Koa models.
