Some of you may have followed the auction for this BB on eBay, SN#CL001537. I am assuming this is late Westerly 99-2000. The picture does not do the top justice, much more amber and beautiful 3D flame. Neck is very slim - truly impressive. More when I get a chance to really kick the tires and play it -

That's a beautiful bird.

They are really fabulous gutars. :D

Congrats!

I replaced the pickups in mine with four-wire versions and put a push-pull pot in place of one of the tone controls. With the push-pull switch I can split the humbuckers to get single coils. A great variety of sounds. :D :D

Yep, I was watching that one! One-owner, and it looks to be well taken care of! A real beaut!!!

Enjoy!

They sure used some nice wood on Bluesbirds. That's a beauty.

'97 serial #s were CL000153-CL0001013, so yours is probably a '98.

A bluesbird might be next up in my Guild gas quest. That's so pretty.
