I don't read Japanese, but this is cool. It looks like they also made a D-40, D-44 and D-50 clone.

No way! That was the first half of the 70ies when basically every company in Japan copied Guild (and Martin, Gibson,...)

Interesting article. I had one of those Takamine Martin copy 12-strings, pictured in the piece. Not a Martin, but for 200 bucks (what I paid at the time), quite respectable.
