NAD: Blackstar

I have bought a Blackstar HT1HR (little tube top; link), mainly because I stumbled over a very good offer on craigslist. And I have got a cab with a 12' Cannabis Rex speaker.
My question for the experts: Do you think they should go well together?

Crazy thing about it: I do not even have an electric (yet) …
(But Santa might bring a NS X175.)

What do you think?

they should sound great together if used for Blues, Rock, Etc.
I have an older HT5 head that i've paired w/a Jensen Vintage Series C12Q spkr, and cleaned up tonewise w/a late '60s NOS Mullard ecc82 as opposed to the stock ecc83 preamp tube, and a NOS '61 Tung Sol USA 12BH7A power tube.
low-watt Blackstars are great for what they are...simple, robust, user friendly hybrids.

Looks like that will be really fun, Markus. You'll be rocking your apartment, LOL! Don't let not having an "proper" electric guitar fool you, sounded strange to me to be able to emulate Hendrix with my D55 through my PocketPod...great fun!
