Here`s my 1974 S-50 that I got mid last year. The frets were pretty much gone, so I got it refretted
and replaced the original Japanese 3 on a peg tuners (which were way past their use by date) for the Kolb
machine heads that work a lot better. The thing sings and I`ve been having a great time wearing it in.
Hope everybody likes my amatuer pics (especially Thunderface - Thanks for your patience) Enjoy !

Amateur photos, nothing. They look great to me. Sweet slab o' sunburst goodness there, Hag!

Good one hagmeat. Rock'n'Roll distilled to it's purest form - a nice slab of mahogany & a HB-1! That is all that's needed for maximum riffage! 8)

PS - I think you are the most efficient poster here - 74 posts & 6 Guilds. Impressive!

Niiiice, Rob! Is that S-50 from Jay Rosen Guitars? Looks familiar.

Speaking about S-50s, did you see that refinished in vintage-aqua S-50 from the 60s? I kinda dig that old-timey look.

I saw that as well & also think the new paint job suits the shape of the guitar. Arctic White (to use a Jazzmaster colour) would also look great I think. His international shipping prices are very good though I think the actual guitar prices are a tad high.

Yep. There is something about this vintage-aqua. Actually I didn't even know that this is how it's called. Even if it was an old Ford pickup truck in that color I'd like that. I guess it's psychological - I've seen one or two of those and that's what draws me to that guitar - the paint job.

By the way, I wish you a fast recovery, Zelja! Hang in there!

Thanks fellas. Yep that was the one from Jay Rosen. Not many 1970`s S-50`s(especially in sunburst)
come up for sale so I had to act fast and I`m glad I did. My wifes sister used to have an old V-Dub in vintage aqua,
not bad,but I prefer the other one in "bloodburst" he has for sale.
