My friend talked me into playing some songs which he recorded with his sound equipment. First song is "Steamroller Blues" by James Taylor, recorded with a John How ladder braced parlor guitar. Second song is "When did you leave Heaven?" My cover of the song from the 1936 film 'Sing Baby Sing' written by Richard A Whiting and Walter Bullock. I played this on a 1950 Kay archtop guitar for that "old timey" sound.....Just a hobby player, enjoy..... I think this represents my ten minutes of fame.....lol

Sounds great. I'd be good to back the camera out a bit and show you and your surroundings a bit more. No need to be shy!

You know.....I like it when I can go on youtube and actually see the left hand and right hand of the guitar player, so I can pick up some techniques, so I guess that was what I was aiming for.....also, don't want to be mobbed by "groupies" and autograph hounds.....you guys know what I mean???!!! LOL.....thanks for the kind comments and support!!

Nice; I really enjoyed the playin', the singin', the looks of the Guit's, & I agree with you, Mr fool, about the camera position. No need to give ammo to the groupies & paparazzi :) .

Sorry, but I don't like Steamroller even when James Taylor plays it. :(
(I always skip that song on my MP3 player …)

But I like "When did you leave heaven" very, very much! :D

Waiting for your next recordings!
