Speaking of bears. Last weekend a hunter here in N MN shot a black bear (500 lbs + live weight) late in the day with a bow from close range. Because of the warm temp, it was decided to try and find the bear that night. The hunter set out carrying only a knife. Hunter jumps bear around midnight and bear decides to attack. Miraculously, hunter wins fight (maybe), but just barely.
