Killer reverb. Is that your brother on the right?
I kept thinking they'd throw down with some blues, but it never happened.Dave
My brother is the left handed player... the one with lots of hair on the left
About the blues, believe or not, he is a fine blues guitarist too. That was his first love (still is, but he now completely devoted his time to medieval music) and he has a lot to do with triggering my "debut" into the blues. Sounds of Brownie Mc Gee, Albert King, Freddie, BB, MJH, JLH and so on, coming out of his room when he was still at my parents, studying to become an English Teacher as I was barely starting to experience puberty, Man, that's a life ago and I remember it as yesterday, he now is a "retired" English teacher, imagine that... wow, it goes by fast!
But anyhoo, he definitely is the one that got me exposed to the Blues genre, and I thank him for that.
We always hit a nice jam when we meet, he still has a couple guitars.
Last time I went, as we were jamming in duo, I was telling him I was impressed at how he could still play for not having practiced in so long, to which he replied: "You don't forget that, it's like riding a bicycle"... But he does have the finger practice though with all the stringed instruments he plays in his ensembles, lute being one of them.
