Little Buckers

I have a 2002 Starfire III and I want to replace the Fender FB-1s with something better. I want bottom clarity, twang and definition, and no ice picky highs. I thought about Filtertrons but it would be nice to keep it Guild. I've heard good things about the new LB-1s and would like some input.

If you don't mind some minor mods, the current Guild HB1's could just be the ticket for the tone you seek. Another fullsized humbucker I would highly recommend would be Seymore Duncan Seth Lovers. The Seth's are low wind/low output for fullsize 'buckers and have a nice tight bottom end, smooth clear highs and a well balanced mid range which doesn't overwhealm the lows and highs so you can get some twang, especially in a hollowbody.
