Joe Pug - On Tour w/ New Album

Just received an email from Joe about the release date of his new album, The Great Despiser and new tour dates. Here is a clip of one of the songs from the album, Hymn #76. Great to see Joe playing his '76 D25. Sure hope I can arrange to see him in San Antonio or Austin. So glad he's going to be at SXSW! 8)

I think this guy is just fantastic. a great singer-songwriter and observer of the human condition..........with excellent taste in guitars. Hope that many of you will check him out when he's near your area. I'll be sure to see him on his next trip downunder ( He's been here twice already).
Thanks for the heads up Toni, I'll be on the lookout for his latest cd. (actually I'll order it through his site asap).
I've shared his music with several friends here, and each of them have gone and ordered his Cd for themselves. Great stuff!

Glad to hear that Joe's autograph scribble is hangin' on your wall. You know that was so much fun getting that for you! I'll see if I can't get one of his new tour t-shirts to give to you at LMG III this year! :shock: :!: 8) :wink:

There's some really great folk music happening recently.

My friend Bart Budwig runs the club he's playing in and is opening up for him. I'm trying to impress him (he's never heard my music) so that oh, I don't know, he asks me to split the opener's time with him. XD
