You didn't know 'bout that one?
Reputed to be the only extant video of him on an acoustic, let alone 12er, was originally released in a BBC sponsored ("IIRC") movie titled simply "Experience" from '67, I think, and not to be confused with an album of an Albert Hall concert by the same name. I have it on VHS but I can't seem to find it listed on the web anywhere right now, might be out of print.
Also appears in 1973's "Jimi Hendrix" (in fact the promo poster featured a graphic image representing that "take"), and the just-released PBS "American Masters" documentary, "Hear My Train a 'Comin" which I can highly recommend as probably the best Hendrix bio and "the real person behind the myth" treatment I've ever seen. In case you've ever wondered if there's a really good one.The only thing that hurts, every time I see it now, is the missing Guild logo at the top of the guitar, when we know that he bought a Guild 12er at his favorite store, Manny's.
There's a pic of the receipt in Hans' book.

Easy there, Al.
I knew about it....I just hadn't had the pleasure of discovering/seeing it on youtube, via my laptop, while down in the basement polishing off a bowl of my favorite ice cream, Tillamook Mudslide.
So I thought I might share it other folks....the video, not the ice cream.

My 8-year-old just opened her detective agency. She told mom her first case was, "Where's the missing ice cream?"

She solved the case. Who-dun-it? Daddy.

Thanks for sharing the video. I'm enjoying this and the Stevie performance.

Gotta admit I saw a chance to point how many ways it was available and a chance to plug the new documentary "for those who might find the info useful" and even throw in a Guild connection "for those who may not have already known".
