I was going to say that this G-41 looks much like a larger version of my D-35, but then you said it was more? like a larger version of the D-40. Nice guitar. And I'll say it too.....I would have liked to hear you strum that guitar.

My G=41 gets more playing time than any of my other Guilds. Huge sound in a parking lot jam - and sounds especially good in the lower registers.
Being 6'4" and having gorilla hands, I feel like it fits me!

Well, I had a chance to play one, and when it speaks everybody listens...even if they're a couple of rooms away....this is the most unpretentious guitar I've ever played... :lol: ...there is simply nothing you could misinterpret about it...its big, its bold and if you dare to play it......it plays you..... :lol: ...it really is a gentle giant, with a huge voice, no worries about banjo players overwhelming it either....I really enjoyed it....Steffan
by the way...it might be for sale for about $1500..if anyone is interested, and it is in great shape.... :!:

Russ, I thought yours was exceptional when I heard it and played it at LTG 2010.
