My holiday theme. Don't recall if I posted this version before, seems like it, but didn't find it on a search just now.
Anyway, came up on the jazz station this AM and it's a masterpiece of elegance, deserves a listen

Backed by McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, and Bob Cranshaw. A supergroup of jazz.

Great version! 14 seconds of a repetitive trill at 2:45! Reminded me of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl" one note solo!

Yeah, for a few a seconds there I thought it was skipping! Then I remembered: "If you make a mistake, play it 3 times and its jazz!"
That whole album's maggers. "Matador"'s a classic and personal fave on the disc.
