Just bought my first Guild on Saturday. I picked an '83 D-50 in excellent condition. Plays and sounds great, no issues at all. Great set-up and a installed pick up as well. Thanks to all of you with your help in this matter. Hopefully, more on the way soon.

What a great first Guild (actually is there any not-great first Guild?); play and enjoy! You do know we are visual and love pictures, right?

Glazed,

Welcome to LTG. If history repeats itself (and it does tend to), you soon will ...

1. Be playing your Guild more than any other guitar in the fleet.
2. Start to suffer from Guild GAS.
3. Think of new and inventive ways to convince your significant other that buying yet another Guild is NOT SILLY AT ALL DAMMIT.

Glazed, welcome aboard and congratulations on your D-50. My G-312 is based on that model, and the recent D-50s that I've played from Tacoma were wonderful beasties. That's all by way of saying that I'm sure you got an awesome player there.

I post pictures by putting them up on photobucket and then putting links to them here in the posts. If you surround that url with [ img]http:blahdeblah...[ /img] (minus the spaces after the left backets) then they'll show up in the posts.

Welcome!
If that box plays half as sweet as my DV52 then you're a gonner. Soon you will be glazed and confused over which Guild to aquire next.

Bobby :D
