Is this an S-281 Flyer guitar? Aviator?

Spoke with a guy on the Guild Guitars Facebook page today who was looking for info on his beloved Guild. Any info on this one?

It looks like one of the later model Flyers. The Body style of a Flyer reminds me of a Guild Pilot bass compressed into a guitar. Nice looking guitar with the pickguard, strat jack input and EMG SSH pickups. I have never been found of the pointy "cakd cutter" head but I have become more tolerant of it over the years.

Guess I could have checked the Guild Serial numbers myself.

It is an S280-S281. 1984 S# stops at HC100481 and 1985 ends at HC101039...so I guess that would make it an 85.
