Greetings!

I have been a lurker here off and on for awhile, and decided to "officially" join.

I'm not a stranger to Guild: Many years ago, I had an F-65CE, which I no longer have. Later, I had a Bluesbird which I stupidly sold. Well, I missed that guitar, so I recently pick up another Bluesbird off of Reverb.

Except for a few very minor scratches, it's in excellent condition. This one isn't going anywhere! The serial number is CL002710, so I'm assuming it's a '98 or '99 Westerly build.

Here's the obligatory pics from the seller:

Hey there. Congrats and welcome. I just sold the same looking Bluesbird to a friend of mine. It's a beautiful model. I had 3 and since I'm primarily an acoustic player, decided to let it go. Probably a mistake but oh well.

Anyway, glad ou joined and welcome to the forum

Welcome and sweet guit!
I had a similar one (2001) that was not as "veined" as yours, but more "quilted", these are gorgeous slabs of wood....

Welcome to LTG. I too was a long time lurker. I decided to step out of the shadows last Fall and join the fun! The top on your Bluesbird is beautiful, and I bet it sings pretty sweetly too!

Welcome to LTG! This is a wonderful last year Westerly 2001 made Bluesbird (according to Hans 2720 was made in 2001 so I assume this one is also already 2001 made and not 2000).

Thanks for the welcome, everyone!

I own other instruments as well: 3 Les Pauls ('89 Custom, '13 Standard, '14 All Wood) and 3 Hamers ('08 Studio Custom, '08 Artist Custom, '08 Newport Custom), as well as 2 G&L basses (JB-2 and L-2000).

It's a sickness, I tell you!

Thanks--that's good to know!
