I called them in the off chance I could swing by and take a tour of the shop next week. They are a couple months out for stuff like that. All good though. Might check out Larrivee while here. Hey Port Hueneme is awesome! Love the Pacific! Already put my head under. Chilly for sure. The air just different out here. 62 degrees is like 72 anywhere else.

A tour would be cool. Larivee in the morning, Guild in the afternoon. Sounds like a reason to call in sick.

Dude, the ocean this time of year (or any time on the West coast) is FREEZING!!! Jeeze. You can check out Larrivee? I love those guitars!! Port Hueneme is a really cool place. Plenty to do. Beautiful marina. Run up to Ventura while you're there. Almost spitting distance, Woody.

Will do Tomas. And yes got a wee bit of a cold this morning, no doubt due to frigid ocean dip. 😄 I love it out here. I want to live here. Heading to Santa Barbara today, taking kids to zoo. Larrivee tomorrow.

I took a tour of the Larrivee facility in Vancouver a couple of years ago when they were still making guitars up there. Nice little tour. Great guitars.

What we do out here to toughen ourselves up is take cold showers and then stand in front of the air conditioner to dry off.
It does help a little bit.

 We're just waiting for the ice to pull 30 feet or so away from the shore. Maybe a week or two.

Yeah but you jump in a steam bath right after the dip.
Wouldn't catch me takin' a risk like that.
Although the pine bough flagellation thing does hold a certain fascination.

February and March are the coldest water months here - that's when the whales migrate through the Santa Barbara Channel. All in all, it's been a mild winter in Guildtown USA (aka Oxnard).

Hit me up next time you're in town. I've got all the good BBQ places scouted out
