How do you know you have GAS????

If you see a guitar you really really would like to have but there's no way for that to happen, and you post it where your friends and Guildoholics can see it, and they buy it and post it and tell you all about it and you are happy for them and if you are thinking that maybe some better days are coming for you and maybe by that time things will change for the owner of the guitar that you really really wanted, and it might come up for sale and be posted on the Guildoholic forum and you think that that maybe someday this will all happen and you will own it after all.............then you've got GAS. :lol: :lol: Steffan

GB I am glad that beauty found you, I'm mostly acoustic, but could have easily lived with it. Perhaps we'll meet, and spend a little music together, that would be very cool...I have an Epiphone Sheriton thats getting Gibsonized, plus an old Peavey Preditor, strat copy, plus a few Guilds, and a sweet Larrivee, so that'll satisfy any musical itch I have for a while...Steffan

Diagnosis: If you are on the Guild forum and you don't own a guild, you don't have GAS, it's just a hobby.

Prescription/Remedy: Sell everything you own, Buy a few Guilds and get with the program.

You know you have GAS when you find yourself remembering the Opie song from The Music Man -

And scheduling days off of work so as not to miss the delivery guy and the latest arrival.

Once I was down in the basement on a day off when the FedEx guy showed up, didn't ring and knock persistently enough, and I missed him. Came upstairs and found one of those damn stickers on the storm door. I immediately grabbed my car keys and drove thru all the nearby neighborhoods until I found the Esso Bee, who looked quite a bit like a more youthful Aunt Bee with a beard. In any case, Opie presented his drop slip and got the guitar.

I'm a recovering GAS-er now, you know. :roll:

I have NEVER met someone who was fully recovered from GAS.......
