Hi- newbie w/ question...

In the mid seventies the case number for a deluxe dread case was 4520...maybe this is a case for the early/mid eighties DS48CE...which is dread shaped...unless the pics are distorted angle, it has to be a dread shape...not F shape...the other features of the case are similar to the ones for the FS series...like the one in my avatar... Grot has a DS48CE...you might ask him if he has the original case for it and could he make a comparison...

It did not come with a hard case, it came in a zebra striped gig bag!

When I get a chance I'll check the "required case" number in the catalog.

Sounds like we may have a match! One empty case which can only fit a specific limited edition guitar...and one limited edition hard to fit in a case guitar...good luck reuniting the pair.:joyous:

I checked all pricelists I have and could not find that C4521 case number. However I don't have any 83, 84 or 85 pricelists.

And of course, the people whom have bid on ebay probably don't realize the case is only deep enough for a 1-1/2" thick dreadnaught guitar which is the only thing that will fit in it!
