Interesting. I remember having a cylinder recorder as a kid, even had a couple of blank cylinders. I think I got it from my grandfather,

I don't remember what happened to it. I'm guessing that had I saved it it would be valuable today,

I really enjoyed watching that video. Thanks for posting! We take the innovation of recorded sound so much for granted. There are some recordings of early jazz that only exist on the wax cylinders. I like the independent stands with arms that suspend the horn on the recorder and player.
