It's actually in a first series repro cab but oh my!!! does it sound good. It's a real plexi 50w Trem head with real Greenbacks. It's much better clean or cranked than my Fender combos by a long shot.

What an amp!

haha..!! well thanks! you really shouldn't shy away from what folks are posting up, it's actually a good learning tool to hear what everyone is doing.

The interesting thing about this recording is, that is just the Strat plugged into that plexi and a mic stuck in front of one of the Greenbacks. There is no real manipulation of the sound with the one little exception of an EQ cut to take some energy out of the 3.5KHz range for the vocals to come through. It's a common practice to remove some frequencies to make room for other instruments to have their space.
