I assume you ask about the Korean made pickups for the Newark St. guitars. Because in the past the HB-2 was a bass pickup...

I am looking at a couple of Guilds the, Starfire SC I and the New Polara Deluxe. I know there will be some tonal differences due to one being hollow and the other solid , but was just looking for some thoughts and input. The Polara deluxe has the HB-1 and the Starfire the HB-2's-per what I found on Sweetwater, plus the Starfire has a nice price tag on it as well. I have never own or played a Guild so I am new to the brand, but have owned many Semi's in the past.
