A few billion years early. I took this " A-Focal" photo yesterday by pointing the camera at the solar scope eye-piece at an odd angle and got this photo.!!! Lunt 60 T HA Solar Scope.

Sorry SGB but just what the heck are we looking at here?

Looks like a hole opened up on the surface of the sun and we can see inside , it was just an odd shot. The fuzzy pics are prominences or flares on the suns surface shooting out about 70 thousand miles into space. When they shoot towards our planet and hit the atmosphere we get the northern lights in the sky or power grid problems if ol sol is really angry. Thanks K.O.M.A. Cheers SGB.
