Guild T-50

I was in a local guitar store yesterday and played a thin body Loar guitar with a single P-90 and no cutaway. Are these made in the same factory as the new Guild T-50? It was a really nice playing guitar and sounded great, I am sure with a set up to personal taste it would be even better. It really reminded me of my 1956 Gibson ES-225T.

From what I've seen, Loars seem to all come out of China,
while thus far the Newark Series instruments have been produced in Korea.
