I think they both could have stood back a bit more from those pumpkins. Those two Shotguns must have better range than that. What model Guild is that anyway?

Dunno which Guild it was but it sure looked like it had a Fishman installed which puts it in the 90's.

I was pleased to note that there did not seem to be any unsafe gun handling in the video. I'm a little concerned though. If those orange menaces are in Tennessee in October then that means they are heading East and we just stopped the clay pigeon invasion.

Electronics - and the controls for the Fishman were clearly visible. May be other differences as well.

Hello frettedstrings,

That's correct but there's more!

They are from different periods and they are different models! The D-40C (the cutaway version of the D-40) was an acoustic guitar that had a 'florentine' cutaway. The model was discontinued during the early '90s.

The D40CE was introduced some time after the Westerly plant was closed and was first produced in Corona. The model had a rounded 'venetian' cutaway and since it was an acoustic/electric, it was outfitted with the Fishman Prefix Blender system.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

I heard something about Remington and Binelli, I believe.

Joe

Benelli M4 self defense shotgun on the left. Once the USMC standard; now the Mossberg 500 has the DoD contract for front line defense shotguns. Both very nice home/personal defense guns, but my favorite is the Remington 870 as shown on the right. World's best selling shotgun for many years; hard to go wrong with a Remington. The one shown is a self defense model with 18" barrel.
