Hi guys, this is my first time so bear with me. I need to know some info about my m75. All i could find out was that it was built in 91'. i paid four hundred for mine and seeing it is a lefty i feel i got the deal. This guitar is amazingly heavy and sounds beautiful, i would enjoy any info you good people of this site could help me obtain. I thought the guitar looked odd and it had old strings on it when i saw it on the shelf. When i picked it up, i knew it was a good chunk o wood. Then i strummed a few chords and felt the most intense vibration flow through the gui9tar and into my hands. i have never felt a guitar do that before and i was hooked. I own many guitars, tele, strat, les paul, but none of them compare to this thing. All i want is to find out about my favourite new guitar. Thanks

I think the earliest year of DeArmond guitars is 1998. What is the first numbers of the SN? It should start with KC---(K==Korea, C==Cort Factory. The next number indicates the year: 8 ==1998, 9==1999, 0==2000, 1==2001, etc.) I think the last year they were made is 2003.

Terry:

Does yours have the "Digsby" trem and single coils, or the trapeze tail and hums?

My M-75T is one of the early ones, '98 or '99. It stays while others go.

First time I picked it up the feeling was there. Something about this guitar has always intrigued me. Many improvements later, it's far more playable. New frets, cause soft, square frets were the weakest point. A graphite nut and proper setup turned that balky trem into, oddly enough, one of my favorite trem units. It's stiff, but very precise, completely controllable.

The sound is unlike any other guitar. Of four dearmonds, this is the one that remains. Sounds like you got another good one.

I got one also and love it. It’s a great ax that is very much at home no matter what type of music you play. But exactly what is it you want to know? We’d love to help you out. :D
