You're right! I thought I was responding to the JF-30 from E-type (# 37), which was from 1996. That can happen when two similar instruments appear in the same thread. Sorry for the confusion!
Welcome to LTG and major congrats on having a most fabulous jumbo 12-string! My JF30-12 is also out of Corona and it was made in 2002. My serial number is several hundred less than yours, so yours is not before 2002. I forget if Corona production continued into 2003. I'm sure others will be along to nail that down.
Oh yeah, I think the ebony fingerboard (which mine has, too) adds A LOT to the value. A massive amount. A huge increase in value. But that's just me.
