Hello bill,

Your DV-4 with serial # AD408999 is from the year 2000 and consequently it was made in Westerly, RI.

Hope you enjoy the guitar!

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

As a casual aside (a.k.a. a veer), I'd like to mount the Sunday morning pulpit to preach to the choir about the beauty of this forum.

Bill posted a query about his 'new' guitar and he received an answer (from our guru-designate, no less) in just over a half-hour.

I'd say that speaks well for the RQ (Response Quotient) here, and just like a good drive on the links, for instance, that's why we keep coming back. Well, that and the fact that we're all helplessly/hopelessly GASsed!

Cheers,
Joe

Welcome aboard, Bill, and congrats on your Westerly DV-4. FYI, the DV series instruments are now produced in Ensenada, Mexico.

I guess you realize that there's no hope for you now, Bill. If it's any consolation, you'll find support here, in a variety of ways.
Welcome to the wonderful world of GAS!
