Well I have to put in a pitch about the finer qualities of the D-35. They don't seem to get much respect around here but a nice D-35 will keep up with any D-40 Guild or even a D-18 Martin. Mine is not for sale (my daughter has first dibbs on it) as I consider it the best use of $500 ever. That was back in '79 and you see them fairly regularly on eBay for $700 bucks or so now.
