JS II. Looks pretty stock. Looks like a 5 digit serial number which would mean 1970-74 although 1971-74 seems more likely because the PUs are the humbuckers with the deep/hard switch. Later (73-74) seems more likely because the control mechanism for the bridge height is a hex head (?) and not a slotted screw. $900-$1000 should be reasonable with a case (which seems to be absent). It is at $830 now which is reasonable but not a screaming deal unless I have missed some recent price appreciation.

Yes, that current price WOULD be very reasonable, but only if you can inspect it in person first or if you have the option to return for a refund. I don't think either is an option here, so I would stay away.
I realize it says neck is straight, but there are so many potential issues here, mainly in regard to fretwear, hairline cracks, stripped truss nut, etc. that I would not trust the resident Goodwill guitar person to detect and flag.
Given these risk factors, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for one of these on a Goodwill auction.

Typically, good instruments go for too much on Goodwill, but occasionally, you can find something.

Sometimes some real junk goes for too much. I seen them bid a Yamaha FG-300 up to $500 even though it had high action and a super low saddle

There's a Guild F-50 up on there for 400$, too. Pretty beat up looking.

I got my '68 EB-3 for $800 from Goodwill. Admittedly, it was a mess cosmetically but that meant I could modify it without feeling like I was chopping up a collector's item. It now sports Dark Star pickups and an Alembic bridge. Sometimes beat up is good.
