Went 0 for 4 for the teams I was pulling for this weekend. Don't think I'll buy a lotto ticket for a while... :?

Maybe I'll pull for New England. Heck I dunno... I mean sheesh; maybe I'll do the laundry or something during the super bowl... There's always the commercials...

I've got Pats over Ravons and 49ers over Giants. That at least gives us an east west super bowl. Looked like the Cheeseheads were snake bit today. :)

I say the super bowl will be a rematch between the Pats and Giants. There I just delivered the kiss of death to both teams.

Place your bets on the Ravons and 49ers.

My Wisconsin lady, Gypsy, is upset. It's not going to be a fun day around here I can tell. I didn't see anyone play well this week-end except the Patriots. The lousy play of some teams was a distraction from good play. I mean come on now, Houston and Baltimore? Neither were impressive IMHO. Baltimore is just going to be embarrassed I'm afraid.

Peace

On a side note, Rex Ryan, the windbag that coaches that "other" NY team, needs to learn that games are won on the field, not behind the microphone.

I hope you're right. As a lifelong Browns fan (I know... I know), I've despised the Ravens and Art Modell since he picked up stakes in the middle of the night and left Cleveland behind. Not so sure about New England's defense; they sure have the offensive punch; however...

After this past weekend series of games, and yes frono some Canadians do actually watch this thing you call NFL whenever our motherstation allows us to, we just have to all watch it together on our 1 big television, my money is on NE. They were relentless in the first half almost to the point of saying to any team watching live or via tape, "Bring it boys!" The question I have is which team can match their offense? Mind you the Raven's defense this year is no push over, they beat P'Burgh 2x, Cinci 2x, they beat the 49'ers.

I predict Pats vs Giants in Indy!

Me too Graham, and remember what happened the last time the Giants played the Pats in the Super Bowl?

Just like in the Stanley cup where the team with the hot goalie usually takes it all, and in the World Series where the best pitching rotation wins, a great defense almost always beats a great offense. 8)

Pats are playing with a wickid chip on their shoulders. Been 1 and out the last 3-4 years in the playoffs. Defensive secondary has been told they suck all season and Brady's got a hair cross his butt the size of low E. The Raven game will be a good contest against a pretty good defense even though they got sacked 5 times by Texas. "Any given Sunday" :)
