Thank you Yoko!!

That was fantastic. I’d never seen it before. Very Cool!!!!

Can you imagine how special that guitar is to the girl who brought it to the taping of the interview.

OOoooooooh Yoko! Man, that was so nice! 8)
I never heard those songs ( All things must pass...well ,Yes!) or saw that video before. That was a treat.
Thank goodness for "Mrs. Guitarlady"
"If you dont know where you're going, any road will get you there". I'm going to be working on that song today. Right after I watch a heap more of that interview, etc. Thanks.

Yes, that is a great video! I bought a copy of it off eBay just so I have it. FYI, "Any Road" is off of George's last CD, "Brainwashed"", but at the time of the VH1 show, no on had heard it, "Brainwashed" did not come out until after his death.

I would highly recommend "Brainwashed", IMHO his best album since ATMP. Excellent acoustic guitar work, great songs with meaningful lyrics, really enjoyable. One of my all-time favorites.

Having been a Beatle fan since the Feb.'64 Ed Sullivan days and a guitar player soon after,I(like about a million other Boomers)grew to respect George not only for his own stuff but for how he could always find the "right"bit to add to a tune.Never flashy or much of a virtuoso,he still managed to shine when not being obscured by John and Paul.Had he been in many other bands he would have gotten a lot more attention from the early days on.His solo stuff almost always had some cool little twist in the chord structure that made you smile once you figured it out.I still keep a bunch of his songs in my practice routine. In addition to "Brain-washed" we should also remember The Wilbury records.Never heard Dylan sound like he was having more fun than that.

Thanks Walrus. :D Excellent reccomendation.
Brainwashed arrived a few days ago and has been much enjoyed by all of us here. Great songs, great lyrics, a winner from the first listen, and instantly recognisable as George! Its all you said it is.......and now, one of my favorites too.
Having come to it so late in the game, its like a 'new release' to me, and I am thankful for that. Glad you steered me that way.
