My luck's not so hot these days. :(

I was leading the pack for two days on a nice looking D-25 on the Bay and it was down to the 3-second wire just minutes ago....and I was blasted out of the water by 75 bucks at the final bell!
I must need more practice.

If someone here on LTG picked it up, congrats and enjoy! :D :( :D

Ah, wasn't your day Deer. I've missed out on a few myself. Good thing about D25's is that you see them all the time. I don't know what you had in mind pricewise, but man there are a ton of beautiful Westerly D25's on Gbase right now.

Jim's right. If you're Ebaying, set your max price then walk away until the auction is over, elsewise could be too tempting to overbid. Don't wanna bid, Gbase has quite a few and those are dealers so there should be some wiggle room.

Thanks for the sentiments West and Graham.
I'm just having a swell time with some pulse-quickening bidding and drooling. I'm looking around my office and thinking, hmmm, if I get rid of that bookcase, I can get three more Guilds in there, etc.

Gassed to the gills, and lovin' it. Maybe I need to whip up a batch of maque choux, eh West?

Take care,
Joe

Make my own maque choux but no boudin for many miles.
Salmon are on the move, though! They'll come into town here, right behind the post office!

**You see, if I start thinking about boudin, I have to change the subject.

OK You guys!
I live in the land of Muktuk or raw whale blubber.
Haven't tried any nor have any plans to either, but the Eskimos think its pretty good.
I suspect my arteries would slam shut if I did.
So whats this here masque choux ya'll talkin about. I hope it ain't French for Muktuk.
If it ain't got any blubber in it, or fermented salmon guts, I might give it a try. :)

I lost a couple to last second bids before I finally won my D-25. By then, I had started bidding on multiple listings at a time. That's how I won both my D-25 and G-37 in the same week. They became Guilds #2 and 3, and look where I am now! D
